The Blue Mountain Steel fabrication shop has a capacity of 100 tons per week. Our shop supervisors have over 60 years of experience in structural and miscellaneous steel fabrication. In 2000, Blue Mountain Steel completed fabrication for two new schools in Reno, Nevada totaling over 2,000,000 pounds in addition to its regular work load. A major emphasis on safety has almost eliminated lost time accidents in our shop which allows Blue Mountain Steel to maintain a high level of quality production by always having our experienced staff constantly available for each project.

The Blue Mountain Steel fabrication shops uses welders who are thoroughly trained by our senior fabricators and certified in multiple welding disciplines. With the number of welders available to Blue Mountain Steel, we can cover all welding requirements.
