Jim Blueberg, Sr. established J.B. Iron in Carson City, Nevada in 1971 as an ornamental iron fabrication and installation shop.

In 1989, the name was changed to Blue Mountain Steel to reflect the scope of work now being performed by the Company and set the tone of ownership and mangement by all the members of the Blueberg Family.

Blue Mountain Steel is a full service steel shop providing fabrication of Reinforcing Steel, Structural Steel and Ornamental Iron. We are a licensed contractor in the states of Nevada and California where we also provide erection and installation services.
